Grass-Fed Beef Ribeye Steak with Garlic Herb Butter
This recipe takes the rich, deep flavors of PV Cattle’s grass-fed ribeye steaks to the next level with a simple yet luxurious garlic herb butter.
The pasture-raised beef is naturally leaner, packed with nutrients, and boasts a superior taste that is both tender and flavorful. With minimal seasoning, this dish allows the quality of the meat to shine through, making it a perfect choice for steak lovers who appreciate the clean, robust flavors of grass-fed beef.
Ingredients:
- 2 Grass-Fed Ribeye Steaks (from PV Cattle)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Prep the Butter: In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
- Season the Steaks: Rub both sides of the ribeye steaks with olive oil, then season generously with salt and pepper.
- Cook the Steaks: Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ribeye steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust cooking time based on your preferred doneness.
- Add Garlic Herb Butter: In the final minute of cooking, add a dollop of the garlic herb butter to the skillet and baste the steaks with the melted butter.
- Rest and Serve: Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with an extra dollop of garlic herb butter on top.
